What clients say about me:

“Jake tutored my daughter for over a year through her A Level Chemistry studies. When she first started out, she was having trouble understanding some concepts and also lacked practice in application of the theory, specifically in exam type questions. Over the course of the year Jake worked through each topic, ensuring she understood the theory and then working through a range of exam questions to ensure she knew how to apply this understanding and how to demonstrate this in an exam scenario i.e. guidance on what the exam boards were looking for. The tutoring was extremely successful and she came away with an excellent grade allowing her to proceed to her preferred university. I highly recommend Jake as a tutor and honestly believe she achieved the grade she did due to his support. Thank you!

Travel

I love travelling. I spent as much time as I can abroad and plan on on living in Europe when I graduate. I think what I like most is meeting new people, and building connections across the globe. I also love learning languages, and I spend time every day learning French (very slowly!). Each photo below was taken during one of my trips.

Sport

I’ve always loved sport, and it’s without a doubt been crucial to everything I’ve achieved so far. I spent a lot of time playing rugby and hockey as a teenager, and now I spend most days in the gym lifting weights and working on calisthenics skills. I religiously watch the Formula 1 when it’s on, and I love any form of international rugby. I firmly believe that nothing is more beneficial to brain health than sport, and it’s the no.1 revision activity I recommend to my students.
